Climate change has become one of the defining issues of our time. As much of the world bands together to come up with a plan, the U.S. remains the notable holdout. What is the rest of the world doing to combat climate change? What impact will the effects of climate change have on global geopolitics? Are you curious about how foreign policy takes shape? You can learn more with the AAUW Great Decisions group. Our chapter’s Great Decisions meetings – the fourth Friday of each month -- are informal and invite discussion. First, we read a brief chapter in our booklet at home. When we meet, we watch a 20-minute video on the month’s topic and then discuss it for about an hour. This is a safe, informative, and non-political venue to discuss important and current foreign policy matters. No experience is necessary!
